Wordless Wednesday: This Is Really Good!

For today’s Wordless Wednesday linkup with Focused on the Magic, the topic is This Is Really Good!  If you know how much I love Walt Disney World, you know that I have a lot of “This Is Really Good!” moments.  Here are just a few of them: The mini-kitchen sink from Beaches & Cream. Balloons! Milestones!  Eli’s first visit and first haircut! Family fun. Even trying Beverly (that child has some strange taste buds!). And … Continue reading

Stormalong Bay Pool at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club

We spend a lot of time at the Swan and Dolphin and really love its proximity to Disneys BoardWalk and to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  When walking around the area, we often stop and admire the amazing pool complex better known as Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club. Be Our Guest Breakfast Pre-Park Opening

I absolutely adore the way that Be Our Guest brings you right into the movie, surrounding you with spectacular scenes from Beauty and the Beast.  I’ve shared my experiences with lunch (good), lunch (not so good) and dinner in previous posts.  I was really excited to learn that they were opening the restaurant for breakfast, including the opportunity to make advanced dining reservations (ADRs).  A couple of weeks ago, Eli and I took a mommy … Continue reading

A little over a year ago, I ate lunch at Be Our Guest for the first time … Continue reading

Epcot’s Inside Out Emotion Garden

I love the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.  I’ve posted about the topiaries, the Urban Farm Eats Garden and the Monsters U Playground already.  Today I want to share a really interesting feature called the Disney Pixar Inside Out Emotion Garden.   This mini-garden feature plants that “inspire your emotions”.   The Angry Plants section are mostly red and orange.   The sign reads: Anger’s a red emotion; Quite likely to explode; His favorite plants are … Continue reading

Breastfeeding at Walt Disney World Resort

I nursed both my children, the first for almost two years back in 1999 and the second for a little over two years in 2010.  It’s amazing the difference a decade made in the public acceptance of breastfeeding, but I still never really felt comfortable nursing in public.  Of course, that didn’t stop me from taking both boys to Walt Disney World while they were babies, so I learned how accommodating Disney is to breastfeeding … Continue reading
