Wordless Wednesday: Disney Nature

Today’s Wordless Wednesday linkup with Focused on the Magic, has the theme of “Disney Nature”.  While there are lots of animatronics at Walt Disney World, there’s still plenty of nature to be discovered!  Here are a few of my favorite Disney nature shots!

    • Thanks! Animal Kingdom has wonderful areas to explore and learn about animals!

    • Thanks! Those bunnies and ducks just don’t know how lucky they are!

  1. I love watching the ducks at magic kingdom. They like to gather on the lawn around the castle and sometimes we watch them from those little umbrella tables by the Parlor where we eat ice cream. (which I don’t think is there anymore is it?)

    • They are so fun aren’t they! I think the outdoor eating area is still there!

  2. That’s a great picture of the hippo and bird. I went to Tri Circle D in 2011 and those must be the best taken care of horses in the country, right up there with the Clydesdales.

    • Eli has the craziest memory! And his favorite thing on the safari is the fake termite mounds!

    • We love staying there! I’ve read that you can even find old railroad spikes scattered around the woods but I’ve never gone looking for them. I don’t really remember it, but my parents used to take me camping there when I was very small.

    • Oh, Fort Wilderness is a wonderful place to stay. We love the cabins. All the fun of camping without the whole tent, sleeping bags, bugs and lack of AC!

  3. One of my favorite moments in O’s first trip to Disney was the time spent watching the ducks. He was just enamored of ducks in that two year old way and my husband and I were wondering just how great it would be to be a duck living in the Magic Kingdom. 🙂
